NAR - Combat Application Tourniquet - ELASTIC TQ HOLDERS - MOLLE Attachment - No Snaps

The C-A-T Elastic TQ Holder from North American Rescue was specifically designed to allow personnel to place their C-A-T^® Tourniquet on their vest, gear or belt for rapid and easy access. It is made of 500D IR Signature Reduced Nylon with MOLLE/PALS-style connectors with end tuck instead of button snap. The Tq. Holder protects your tourniquet from the elements and has an easy-open elastic Hood Cover design with a Pull-Tab to completely clear the TQ for removal by up, down, or outward movements. Be advised that the Initial Tourniquet FIT into the Tq. Holder is tight. *

NOTE: Accommodates the Gen 6 & 7 C-A-T^® Tourniquets Only. (Tq. Not included).

* Please be advised that the initial fit of the CAT Tourniquet into the Tourniquet Holder is very tight. The Tq, Holder must be worked in and stretched out to get the perfect fit.  Stretching out the opening of the Tq. Holder with a pair of smooth-faced Pliers or another similar tool while inserting the tourniquet into the tourniquet holder works best.  Once you have the CAT Tourniquet fully inserted into the tourniquet holder, close the Hood Cover. Using your hands, begin stretching and wringing the tourniquet and holder to help stretch the holder out.  Leaving it as is, overnight also helps with the stretching process.  Once these initial stretching steps have been completed, start removing and reinserting the tourniquet into the holder several times until you achieve the proper fit acceptable to you.  And that's it!  You've completed the Tourniquet Holder fitting process.
