When it comes to being prepared for any pre-hospital trauma emergency situation such as Massive Bleeding, Blocked Airway or Tension Pneumothorax, having the right med supplies on hand in your *Trauma First Aid Kit (TFAK) can mean the difference between life and death.

Meet our new Centa1 Med Kits Critical "5" TFAK Pouch.  Simple, yet effective! All supplies inside are highly rated, top-quality items made in the USA and CoTCCC approved (Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care).

And we Simply Call it the Critical "5" TFAK Pouch, and here's what's in it:

1. Commercial grade Tourniquets are crucial for stopping severe bleeding from a limb. When applied correctly, a tourniquet can help prevent excessive blood loss and save lives. Our choice is the high-quality, combat proven, CoTCCC approved North American Rescue CAT GEN-7 Tourniquet.

2. Hemostatic Gauze are essential for controlling severe bleeding quickly. These hemostatic gauzes promote blood clotting and can be lifesaving in situations where rapid intervention is needed. Hemostatic gauze, such as QuikClot "Bleeding Control Dressing" (3" x 4 Yards) is our choice for our TFAK Kits and Pouch.

3. Pressure Dressings, also referred to as Israeli Emergency Bandages or Emergency Trauma Dressings (ETDs), are used to apply direct pressure to wounds and control bleeding. These dressings are designed to provide consistent pressure to the wound site, promoting clotting and reducing blood loss. They work great when applied together with Hemostatic Gauze, such as QuikClot "Bleeding Control Dressing." Our choice for this kit is the NAR 4" Mini Responder ETD.

4. During a trauma situation, maintaining a clear airway is crucial for ensuring proper oxygenation. Airway management devices such as Nasopharyngeal Airways, (NPA's) can help secure the airway and support breathing in critical situations. NPA devices are excellent for comprehensive airway management. We choose the NAR Nasopharyngeal Airway - 28F (117 mm) - pre-lubricated.

5. Chest Seals are essential for treating open chest wounds, such as those caused by gunshot or stab wounds. These seals create a one-way valve that allows air and blood to escape from the chest cavity while preventing air from entering. We choose the NAR Hyfin Compact VENT Chest Seal Twin Pack for our kits for managing chest trauma injuries.

** (Kit also Includes one NAR Wound Packing Gauze for larger wound packing situations and one pair of Halyard Purple Nitrile Gloves - Large - For Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]).
